Ques. What is MBD Associate Loyalty Program?
Ans. MBD Loyalty program is a new loyalty program offering from MBD Group, that
rewards individual; those who book on behalf of others at MBD’s participating hotels.
Members earn reward points when placing their business accommodation at the participating
hotels. MBD loyalty program at hotel level will replace Carlson ‘Reswards Program’
which is not active anymore. The new program has better and improved offerings.
Ques. How can I get enrolled in MBD Associate
Loyalty program?
Ans. You may enrol by clicking "Join us or contacting us at “1800-120-2466” or e-mail
us at mbdassociateloyaltyprogram@mbdgroup.com.
At the time of enrollment you would require the following:
- Valid proof of identification.
- Latest color passport photograph.
- Postal address.
- Valid telephone number in India.
- Valid e-mail address.
Membership to the program is open to the only individual who are aged 18years and
above.
Membership is only open to individuals. Associations or groups cannot enrol into
the program.
The program is open to resident Indian Nationals.
The program is not open to employees of MBD Group and its subsidiaries companies.
Ques. How will points be awarded to a member’s
account?
Ans. You will be provided with guide and SOP’s on how to operate MBD loyalty program.
As a part of E-learning, training will be available on how to use MBD loyalty program.
Respective relationship manager from sales team will be in continuous touch to assist
you in every aspect for the same.
Ques. What is “Qualifying spend” for MBD
Associate Loyalty program?
Ans. Qualifying spend includes revenue on rooms only. (Room tariff).
Ques. Can a company have one account instead of individual accounts, for instance
if there is a company that doesn’t want individual receiving personal benefits?
Could they join as a company account?
Ans. MBD Loyalty program will be only available for individual member. Due to legal
reasons and bribery act laws we cannot have an account have an account for a group
of people; as an individual has to accept the term and conditions of the program.
Member can be a designated person in the company who then redeems the vouchers for
their company if that’s the case.
Ques. Is this programme voluntarily or Mandatory?
Ans. It will be voluntary for any person who qualifies and opt to be member of the
programme.
Ques. How can members redeem their points?
Ans. Members can use their points through rewards nights, goods purchase and vouchers
of branded companies online.
Ques. Can members purchase points as well
as earning them?
Ans. No, members cannot purchase points and can only earn them.
Ques. What if I forgotten my membership
number?
Ans. If you forget your membership number you can submit an online request along
with an E-Mail to respective relationship manager.
Ques. Can I transfer points to my Friends
and Family members?
Ans. No, the points earned are strictly non-transferable.
Ques. How long can I be member of the MBD
Associate Loyalty Programme?
Ans. Membership of MBD Associate Loyalty Programme is Lifetime as far as the member
stay active.
Ques. Can points be awarded for more than
one room on the same night?
Ans. Yes, points will be awarded for more than one room for the reservation made
by the member.
Ques. What would happen if the reservation is made through central Reservation at
the Company contracted rate?
Ans. Points will be awarded to the enrolled member from the company on net room
revenue.
Ques. What will be the registration process for the bookers when the programme is
launched?
Ans. Bookers will be enrol online via www.mbdassociateloyaltyprogramme.com . Except
the programme’s Terms & Conditions and post verification members can begin to use
their account immediately.
The member will receive an E-Mail/SMS instructing them to login into their account
online and accept the Terms & Conditions.
After that they can start using their account.
Ques. Does the member still receive their points if the person they have booked
for, does not show up for their reservation?
Ans. Points and/or Qualifying nights credit are not awarded for No-Show even if
the room is paid in full.
Ques. Who earns points? The Stayer or Booker?
Ans. The booker earn points for the qualifying bookings made on behalf of others/travellers.
However, if the stayer is the enrolled member can also get points.
Ques. Are points automatically earned?
Ans. No, the member must provide/announce the membership number at the time of making
reservation. Hotel Managers, Managers, Reservations/Bookings through MBD Associate
Loyalty Programme and keep the member updated on his/her points status.
Ques. Are there different Tier Status of
the Programme?
Ans. Yes, there are different levels of Programme. However, currently only the “Gold-Elite”
level is activated.
